Reading the book I could hear myself using a lot of the same “typical” coaching points for routes the book pointed out. The way they lay out the system is very clear and easy to understand. Can’t wait to dive into it more.

Highly recommend to anyone struggling to develop a rhythm with their QB. Definitely opened my eyes to how to be better for my players and fellow coaches.
The information is exceptional.
Camping out in the opposition's loop...
Great read! Recommend it to anyone who is interested in offense.
Needed the hard copy to complete my set! Way to long referencing just the on line version.
Want to talk about return on investment? Whether you’re an air raid guy, option, or wing T. The R4 system helps you maximize your quarterback and teaches you how to teach them! I cannot say enough good things about what Coach Maddox has created and how beneficial it can be for you as the play caller/qb coach and the young men you’re coaching!
Sold! Been using R4 since its inception. Headset to Helmet is an Incredible resource. You will never see the passing game the same way again
If you value my NFL QB evals from the past several years, I learned a lot from reading Headset to Helmet.
This book changed the way I coach the QB position. It streamlined decision making & made clear what the QB and I as a coach are both seeing. This was like taking off a blindfold for me!
Headset to Helmet & Brian Billick’s Developing an Offensive Gameplan are 1a and 1b on my all time list. I highly recommend it.
If you are coaching football at any level and don’t have Headset to Helmet, or any of Dub Maddox books, you are doing yourself an injustice!
Great read!
This R4 system or Language is going to be a game changer for our offense!!
Must read
Very grateful to Coach Maddox for his help.
Headset to helmet is a book you need to read. It truly takes you into developing a system with your QB so that communication can be at an optimal level. So many of us coaches have these ideas and strategies but struggle to communicate it to our QB (even the team) in practice and especially in game. This has helped greatly.
Purchased this for my son, as his football coach required them to read and utilize this.
This book has changed the way I coach the QB position. It has streamlined decision making and made clear what the QB and I as the coach are both seeing. The results speak for themselves. Last season we had 65% completions, over 2k yards and 26 touchdowns with 0 interceptions. This was like taking off a blindfold for me.
Can't wait to dive into this one....not sure if its like the original but if so, there's a lot of knowledge to get out of these. It has now joined my other three books to round out this collection
